Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce would like to introduce Sharron Murden who will be the guest speaker at the Women in Business Lunch on March 26 at Hatchie River Trading Co.
About Sharron
Ms. Murden began her career in banking and finance in July 1997 as a teller. During her more than 22 years in banking, she transitioned into various positions, including Real Estate Loan Processor, Loan Administrator Assistant, Charge Teller, and Vice President/Branch Sales Manager.
In March of 2018, Ms. Murden was promoted to her current position as District Manager of CB&S Bank Northwest Branches. She is not only responsible for managing the Bolivar, Tennessee Branch, but also oversees the Whiteville, Tennessee branch, as well as branches in Walnut and Ripley, and two branches in Corinth, Mississippi.
In addition to her career in banking, Ms. Murden continues to be a dedicated community leader. She currently serves as board president of the Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce and is an avid supporter, team leader and committee member of Hardeman County Relay for Life. Also, Ms. Murden mentors youth as a member of the Tennessee Achieves Mentoring Program.
On April 10, 2018, Ms. Murden received the Sterling Award presented by Jackson Area Business and Professional Women and The Jackson Sun. She was chosen as one of the Top 20 Most Influential Women of West Tennessee.
A 2014 cum laude graduate of Union University, Ms. Murden began her college education at Jackson State Community College, graduating in 2012. She is a State of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance Certified Life Insurance Producer.
The University of Tennessee, Board of Trustees, WestStar Leadership Program selected Ms. Murden to participate in the WestStar Class of 2019. The selection is based, in part, upon individual leadership record, commitment to community and the willingness to make a difference in our West Tennessee community. On June 25, 2019 Ms. Murden graduated from the WestStar Leadership Program, and on July 12, 2019, Ms. Murden graduated from The Southeastern School of Banking, Nashville, TN.
Ms. Murden is a strong faith based individual who knows that with Christ, all things are possible. She believes that it is her faith that holds her and that keeps her humbled. It is her faith that leads and guides her from day to day, and it will be her faith that will lead her on. There is a calling on her life to encourage, motivate, and inspire others to their greatness. Ms. Murden believes that every person has a born given ability to help others by leading by example.

Women in Business Lunch is an event by Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce to celebrate and recognize women in business in Hardeman County.
