U.S. Representatives and Senators
The U.S. Congress is divided into two groups, the Senate & the House of Representatives. The Senate is Comprised of two Senators per state. Senator Marsha Blackburn and Senator Lamar Alexander serve Tennessee. The number of representatives in the House for each state is determined by population. Tennessee is divided into nine House Districts. Hardeman County is located within District 7, which Representative Mark Green serves.
State of Tennessee
Bill Lee is Governor of Tennessee. The upper house of Tennessee’s General Assembly is called the Senate. The state is divided into 33 senatorial districts. Each district elects one senator. Hardeman County is a part of State Senate District 26, which Senator Delores Gresham serves. The larger house of Tennessee’s bicameral legislature is called the House of Representatives. Tennessee is divided into 99 House districts. The majority of Hardeman County is located within State House District 80. The remainder of the county is located within State House District 94. Representative Johnny Shaw serves District 80 and Representative Ron Gant serves District 94.
